Egg Salad (Sissy's)
Sissy's Egg Salad is a staple around our house, especially during the summer months. It is also a go-to for parties and/or large gatherings when appetizers are served.
It is referred to as "Sissy's" because my family calls me (Melissa) Sissy and this is my egg salad recipe. Of course, my mama taught me how to make egg salad when I was a little girl. This recipe is similar to her recipe, with a bit of pickle relish added for a little zing.
There is nothing fancy about it...a basic recipe with no strange ingredients....just eggs, mayo, mustard, pickle relish, salt and pepper.
So easy to make!
All you need to know how to do is boil an egg!
Ingredients:
6 eggs - hard boiled and chopped
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon mustard
2 teaspoons pickle relish
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and mix well.
Chill for about one hour before serving.
